I started bestwebster.com in 1999 kind of as a fluke, when a friend hired me to do my first professional free-lance web site for the San Diego Children's Choir. BTW it looks almost the same as it did over 10 years ago!
Anyway, it seemed like everyone wanted or needed a web site or had a friend who did. Business was good, though in the mid 2000's, easier tools like Microsoft FrontPage and GoDaddy's Web Site Tonight made it possible for novices to create their own web sites. So, I continued to do the occasional web site for a friend but closed up business in 2007 in order to allow more time for friends & family .
Now, I'm intrigued by the Weebly free web site generator and figured why not try it out and spread the word. I'm a wanna-be Consumer Reports tester and am sometimes obsessive-compulsive about analyzing and reviewing products. I take advantage of those who are more educated than me about many things, and try to practice good karma by sharing my great finds with others. I don't expect a lot of people to follow this site, but it's more an exercise to test out Weebly. And a free journal for me to keep track of those really cool things that I want to share!
