Here's another gem I really like: a slim & compact ceramic space heater by Crane. It runs about $35 at amazon.com and drugstore.com. Some reviewers don't like the fact that it doesn't have a thermostat, but I consider that a bonus for bathroom use -- I turn it on while taking a shower without any concern that it will turn off when the room gets warm and that I could forget to turn it off when I'm done.

This little unit fits nicely even on a bathroom counter, and looks good enough that you probably won't mind keeping it there. I've had mine for about 6 months and still feel it was a great investment.  Until next time...
